Comment: Nice layout with different tracks for different size bikes, but a little bit expensive now for 65's to run on the small track! We'll have to go every other week now! |
Name: Motoxalios
Comments; hi lee, soz u feel that way, but with the entry fee rise we are still the cheapest where can ride all day if you go further afield it will cost you more in diesel plus higher entry fee, but bear in mind you can still ride all day not blocks like the majority of the other tracks, thanx 4 yor comments

Comment: i think its time to be honest, in the last six weeks i can honestly say that the small 65 and under track has been graded once and the large track has only had fresh soil placed on top of some of the table tops and may be slightly graded but both of the up hill sections have NOT been touched! at the moment £5.00 per child and £10.00 per adult, who could grumble? but when the prices go up i would seek an alternative track even if this means travelling further or only come every other week. |
Name: Motoxalios
Comments: hi sam thanx 4 yor comments, and im going to be honest with you. the reason why the track hasnt been graded is due to the hot sunny weather, we have tried to rotavate the both tracks but the ground was to hard and we snapped the blades on the rotavator, we have now replaced them at a cost of £300+vat. We have 30,000tonnes of soil which is ours but the soil is based about 4 miles away and at the moment all we have is a 10 tonne tipper and each trip takes 1 hour to collect the soil and then drop it off, you must appreciate that all the marshalls work full time in jobs some of us on 12 hour shifts, then we come straight from work to work on the track as you are probably aware doing a 12 hour shift then going straight to the track to do more work is very hard. the marshalls dont get paid what so ever, they are volunteers, so there for it takes time to bring all the soil over as we only have the one tipper, im sure you will appreciate that working 12 hour shifts and trying to run a motox track 3 times a week is hard work. price wise for riding your bike/s is very cheap in fact with the price rise we are still the cheapest track around the uk, by all means feel free to go to other tracks but bear in mind you will have to pay more diesel/petrol to get to these tracks and then they are still dearer than our prices and will probably have to ride in 20 minute blocks, but bear in mind the price you pay at green valley mx is to ride all day. the reason why we are imposing the entry fee rise is at the moment we have purchased all the new machinery as you are aware to keep the track to a high standard and we have spent around 20k for this machinery, we are not funded by anyone what so ever, at this moment in time if any of the machinery breaks or parts/fuel is needed to keep the machines running we the marshalls are paying out of our own pocket and that shouldnt be the case, we have spent years to get the track to where it is now and we cannot continue to use our own money as we have families and we have to provide for them as well, imglad you raise this issue with me and i hope that the answer has given you some insight to the running costs of the track, im sorry you feel this way, by all means you are not tied down to our track and its your legal right to ride elseware but bear in mind you will have to pay alot more to get to other tracks and alot more in entry fee, we have told all our riders about the change and there are only around 2-3 riders that feel this way about the entry fee rise out of around 130 riders, im sorry but we cannot make exception to the rule for 1 or 2 riders reguarding entry fee rise. thanx for your question and id like to thank you for using green valley motox track

Comment: hey,i just sold my grey thumpstar and baught a kx 85 never rid it before so i was just wondering if i could ride it on the middle size track to start off with? thanx ,Ash |
Name: Motoxalios
Comments: hi ashley, thats not a problem m8, you can start on the oval track until you are ready for your next step. Theres no pressure what so ever, we will not force you to tackle the big track until you are ready, when you are you will have a marshall go out with you to see how you cope with the jumps ect, dont worry you can ride at your own pace with the marshall behind you or infront of you thats up to you, just ask for martin when you arrive and we can arrange this for you, all the best m8
